Trade CFD Energies
The term “energies” refers to materials that release energy during combustion. This energy can be released in the form of heat, light or other forms of energy. Energies are crucial for many applications, including heating, power generation, transport, and industrial processes. There are different types of energies, for example fossil fuels such as crude oil, natural gas or coal, renewable fuels such as hydrogen or biogas and nuclear fuels such as uranium.
The most traded energy on the commodity exchanges is the US crude oil grade West Texas Intermediate (abbreviated: WTI; FPM symbol: USOIL.c). Example: You assume that the price of USOIL.c will rise from the current price of USD 70 per barrel. You decide to buy 1 CFD USOIL.c for USD 70. After some time, the value of USOIL.c rises to USD 75. If you decide to close your position at the price of USD 75 the difference of USD 5 is your profit. And vice versa. As with all CFD products, you are not entitled to delivery of the WTI crude oil, you can only participate in the price fluctuations.
